General Petraeus has served our country well in the Iraq war. His indiscretion in writing his memoir and affair was inexcusable but pale in comparison to others in government that have miss handled classified information. I call on President Obama to show compassion and forgiveness in this case and offer the General a full pardon before he leaves office in Jan. 2017. This deed of kindness will be appreciated by his family and the American people.
