We need to heal as a nation. I don't know if Trump will continue to be vindictive now that he has won but given his displayed tendancy to look for personal satisfaction, the possibility of his administration seeking to prosecute his former political opponent would smack of not only vengance but would have a twinge of facisim.
It would be a sad precident for future campaigns to include threats of prosecution leveled against ones adversaries.
How many wounds would fester if this were to happen. How many riots would Trump face if he tried to exact a personal revenge on behalf of his supporters?
It is time to put this behind us.
