The Journalist Barrett Brown has been jailed for over two years, having been arrested on September 12, 2012.
It is clear that his prosecution is tied to his investigation of ties of the U.S. security state to private contracting firms.
Many highly unusual restrictions have been placed on Barrett Brown's defense team, including a gag order, that have already prejudiced his rights to a fair, speedy and public trial.
There is very little hope this petition will be acted upon; his actions are clearly anathema to the ruling class who has tightly controlled these proceedings and staged a PR campaign vilifying Barrett Brown.
