Julian Assange remains in isolation in the Ecuadoran Embassy in Great Britain, to avoid possible extradition to the United States related to his journalistic work. His work has resulted in a greater understanding such that we may better fulfill the intent of the Founders of our Great Nation.
The United Nations Working Group on Arbitrary Detention, having investigated Mr. Assange's detention, concluded:
"The deprivation of liberty of Mr. Assange is arbitrary and in contravention of articles 9 and 10 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and articles 7, 9(1), 9(3), 9(4), 10 and 14 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights.
We respectfully request that President Barack Obama grant Julian Assange a full reprieve and pardon of any and all offenses.
