Ross Ulbricht has been sentenced to life in prison without parole, for creating a website that promotes free markets. This sentence is more severe then sentences typically given to violent individuals who have severely injured or even killed other people.
Ross Ulbricht was never shown to have harmed anyone. He never even stole or damaged anyone else's property. All he did was provide a virtual marketplace where people were able to engage in commerce free of violence or threats.
The only reason he is facing life in prison, is that there are people in government who hate liberty more than violence. Please prove that you are not one of those people. Please pardon him.
