We the people ask the federal government to Propose a new Administration policy:

Pardon Marijuana Offenders: Free thousands of Non-violent Offenders of Pot Prohibition.

Created by W.S. on August 03, 2016

We are asking that the President use his powers to pardon the thousands of non-violent marijuana offenders that are currently in state and federal prisons. When 15 states have decriminalized marijuana, 4 states have legalized recreational pot, 16 have medical marijuana, and another 14 have made marijuana a misdemeanor offense, current government policy on marijuana is no longer defensible. It is time that the president released marijuana offenders, many of whom are in jail for crimes that would be permissible in much of America.

Mr. President, the majority of Americans now support the legalization of marijuana*. Stand on the side of history. Stand on the side of justice. Release non-violent marijuana offenders today.
