Marine Corps Veteran Eric Pizer dreams of a career in law enforcement, and he would be great at it. Sadly, because of a felony conviction from an incident in 2004 he cannot pursue his dream.
In 2004 Eric was on leave. He was at a bar and stepped into a scuffle. Those involved were poking him, chest bumping him, getting in his face. One guy said to him "I'm going to kill you." Eric instinctively hit the guy.
One punch. The guy received a broken nose in a bar fight where he was the antagonist. He pleaded no contest and was convicted of Felony Battery, 2 years probation and had to pay the medical bills.
