Marissa Alexander, the 31-year-old Florida woman who fired what her family calls a warning shot at her abusive husband, was recently sentenced to 20 years. Considering the circumstances, we the undersigned believe the sentence to be a miscarriage of justice and implore the President to intercede on her behalf and with a Presidential Pardon as soon as possible.
