Pardon Marissa Alexander convicted in Florida Sentenced to 20 years in prison in a case of spousal self-defense.

Marissa Alexander has been wrongfully convicted to 20 years in prison. Her defense is that she fired a gun in the air frighten her abusive partner.

As many who have been following the case of Marissa Alexander know, her conviction was reversed, and a bail hearing was set to review whether or not the accused mother could be released, pending a new trial. The motion for bail was left undecided. The presiding Judge decided to delay further action until January 15, 2014.

She deserves not only bail, but to have the miscarriage of justice lifted from her shoulders, her good name and freedom restored.
