Pardon Marissa Alexander for defending herself against an attacker with an history of violence. She is facing 20 years.

Created by E.A. on March 04, 2014

Marissa Alexander is facing a mandatory 20 year sentence for defending herself in her own home. Rather then take the life of her attacker, Marissa discharged her firearm into a ceiling and wall. These shots did not injure anyone, but succeed in staving off battery upon her.

Ms. Alexander should be protected under the same Florida law that has been invoked in other defense cases.

We ask that Marissa Alexander be pardoned of the mandatory 20 year incarceration, for the actions of protecting her own life without taking another.
