Melania Trump is an immigrant success story, a naturalized American who has made it in American society. However, that Ms Trump was paid to work while she was in the United States on a B-1/B-2 visitor visa, before she obtained an H-1 work visa, was a violation of American immigration law that calls into question her naturalization as an American citizen. We recognize, however, Melania Trump's contribution to American society and call for a Presidential pardon for Ms Trump in tandem with creation of policy that provides a path to citizenship for others who similarly violated U.S. immigration law.
