Pardon Michael D. Mitchell who was wrongly convicted of a felony. Self-Defense of self, family and home is not a crime.

Created by M.M. on November 14, 2012

On June 11, 2011, 11:15 PM a car pulled into my rural driveway, turned around drove to my second driveway, turned around in my yard and stopped. I called 911, I went outside of my home and shot twice in the air, car did not leave. I yelled a verbal warning, not response. a male figure appeared in front of the headlights with surgical gloves on and holding a black plastic bag. I yelled "hey", the subject looked at me, threw the bag under my mailbox, took the gloves off and disappeared from in front of the car. The car started trowing gravel and I reacted by firing one shot at the bumper of the car. One subject in the car was struck in the shoulder. I was arrested, convicted of a Drive-by shooting. I have no criminal history. It was self defense.
