Weldon Angelos is a man convicted of selling marijuana in three small transactions. Because one witness testified that he carried a gun while selling the drug, the prosecutor sought and obtained a fifty-five year minimum sentence for a man with no prior criminal record.
Weldon is a father and family member and has been a productive member of society. Even the judge who sentenced him is begging the administration to commute his sentence, but his hands were tied by federal laws which state that someone selling drugs with a firearm on their person is subject to a long minimum sentence.
Please allow him to return to his family. Keeping him in jail is evil.
