Pardon or commute sentences of thousands of Americans in prison for non-violent drug offences.

Created by T.Z. on December 27, 2013

Dear President Obama,
Many of your supporters would like to see you set a new record for pardons of non-violent prisoners, especially people who are overcrowding our prisons and costing America billions of dollars yearly, who could be productive tax paying citizens. Prohibition of certain substances, especially a common plant that was grown by George Washington and most of the other Founding Fathers of this Nation, is costing America dearly during these recessionary times, and is of questionable constitutionality.
Remember, the Emancipation Proclamation was an Executive Order!
Please use your powers as President to correct as much injustice as you possibly can during your remaining years in office. Pardon or commute sentences of as many non-violent offenders as possible.
