On April 15th 2011, The Department of Justice handed out indictments to three poker sites. Only one of the sites have acted in good faith by returning player's money to Americans. This site was Poker Stars. Poker Stars is a legitimate business operating outside of the US. We believe that Poker Stars should be pardon of any wrong doing and be allow to return to the United States market where they can be taxed by the USA. The UIGEA does not forbid the wager on games of skill and poker is a game of skill.
