In the recent past there was an issue in USA Today that talked about individuals known as a "Sheikh" who want to enlist and serve in the U.S. Military, but can not do so unless they go through the same enlistment requirements as American-born persons are required to go through. Pardon these 2 requirements as follows:
1) the cutting of head hair (because Shiekh's wear identically colored camoflauge turbans that hide their hair entirely).
2) the cutting of all facial hair( as long as they keep facial hair neatly groomed).
