In the tradition that Justice does not fear Truth, but rather insists upon it for the basis of governance, We, The People who are affected by Pvt. Manning's actions, do not request, but insist upon his pardon. We insist, because in service to his country, We the People, Pvt. Manning clearly saw that We the People are the ones that the constitution protects, and therefore We the People are the ones he serves - not through faceless bureaucrats or truth killing proper channels - but through every means available to him, wherever he finds We the People are in danger from any threat, especially from a runaway Government and Military that has forgotten that We the People demand the truth, and celebrate those brave and heroic enough to tell us it. Pardon the Hero; indict the DOD.
