We the people of the United States of America appeal to President Obama to pardon Rene Lima-Marin. Rene Lima-Marin was released from prison after serving an eight year term. Rene Lima-Marin then completed four years of parole. He was a free man, with a wife and children. He had done what the justice system of Colorado had demanded of him. Rene Lima-Marin has now been returned to prison to serve out an additional 90 years, leaving behind a family and life he had worked hard to create. He did not break out of prison. He was not an escapee. Colorado prosecutors claim that Rene Lima-Marin should have made them aware of some supposed clerical error. Colorado prosecutors also claim that Rene Lima-Marin should not have started a family. These cannot be serious statements. Pardon Rene Lima-Marin.
