The US has sought the extradition of Richard O'Dwyer to the US. Home Secretary Theresa May officially approved the request to extradite Richard March 22, 2012.
Richard's life is being upended despite the fact that simply linking to copyrighted material isn't an offense in the UK. The website in 2010 was deemed to be a 'mere conduit' in British courts, and its admins were acquitted.
Here in the US we are sentencing kids like Hana Beshara and Matthew Smith of Ninjavideo fame to prison with heavy fines for just linking to copyrighted material.
Richard has the right to obey the laws of his country.
Please quit prosecuting and ruining the lives of people in other countries for obeying their own laws.
Put an immediate end to this.
