This nations drug policy does nothing to stop the flow of drugs into this country. In it fact it creates more victims.
Victims are created especially when law enforcement and prosecutors cross the very fine line between entrapment and enticement. In Mr. Chong's case, agents of law enforcement repeatedly placed an order with a company owned by Mr. Chong that the officers new was illegal. Further, the agents and prosecutors new that Mr. Chong was not involved in taking or completing orders. Instead, they threatened some of his family members with prosecution. If you go after a person, that's one thing; when you threaten his family members that is entirely different. It can also cross the line into malacious prosecution, as has happened with Mr. Chong.
For this reason, Mr. Chong needs pardon
