pardon Vernon Bowman of Indiana. Monsanto should be responsible for regulating their own distribution chain.

Created by D.H. on May 13, 2013

Vernon Bowman, a 75 year old farmer of Indiana, purchased seeds from a grain elevator. Some of those seeds were trademarked by Monsanto. He was tried and convicted by the supreme court for violating Monsanto’s patent rights.

Monsanto should regulate their own supply and distribution chain, and not hold individuals responsible who follow the law to legally purchase their own seeds,

It's an egregious rights violation for the supreme court to hold Bowman at fault for purchasing seeds from a normal grain elevator.

It's wrong for the supreme court to hold this man responsible for unknowingly purchasing some Monsanto seeds. Only the executive branch can right this wrong by pardoning Bowman.
