The VW diesel scandal has shocked many owners who once appreciated the mystique of German engineering. Some have begun the process of filing lawsuits against VW. We think it is more appropriate, given pressing climate matters, that VW instead simply be only allowed to sell zero-emissions vehicles in the US. We are a nation of second chances, and VW has for years provided millions of high-quality and trendy vehicles to the US. We think a zero-emissions mandate would be more productive than year-long lawsuits.
