There are so many caring, loving, supportive parents fighting a battle to see their children including my husband. While abusers and criminals can somehow sometimes have 50/50 Custody or at least weekends. Research, Implementation and consequences must be made.
As a Victim of PAS myself, I believe this does have a mental and physical impact on the children and even adult children. My mother told me to tell the courts my father had molested me. So I did. I was 10. It was not true. It was wrong, abusive and extremely hurtful. PAS must be reviewed in the judicial system and investigate any claims in custody hearings. Research of the mental, physical and emotional effects of PAS has on these children and the long term effects of children of PAS.
