Parents should be charged with physical, social, and emotional child abuse, neglect, and endangerment who teach their mentally healthy or ill children to shoot guns and/or assault rifles while also allowing them to engage in excessive, unsupervised hours of violent video games and computer usage.
If a child or young adult who is a product of this environment commits a violent crime resulting in the death of a human being other than himself, the parent should be held accountable as well.
Parents who do not, are not able to, or are afraid to discipline their children or monitor their children’s engagement in illegal and/or violent activities that are a threat to themselves and/or to the society at large, should have their parenting rights revoked and be required to seek mental attention.
