Parents who have been paying child support consistently for 2yrs should be able to claim child on taxes.

Created by L.L. on December 05, 2012

I believe that parents who have been paying child support consistently for 2 years without missing a payment should be able to claim their child or children on their taxes along with the custodial parent. It is not fair that as child support paying parents who are being responsible and are there for their children do not get any incentive to help them out. It is not fair that just because you are the custodial parent you are the only one who can reap the benefit to claim on taxes. I am not saying that child support parents should get the same amount as custodial parents they should get some kind of incentive for being a responsible parent. Obama makes it clear be a responsible PARENT. For that they should be rewarded for keeping up with payments to ensure the child is taken care of.
