The pay range for several jobs and job categories as posted on the federal usajobs.gov site make no sense and are not in line with what comparable private sector jobs pay. Purely as an illustration, the pay ranges for the couple of job postings below are above and beyond what these jobs would fetch in the private sector. These are simply examples but many more cases can be found on the site. I.e. Analyst and intern type job roles do not fetch 180K+ in the private sector.
