PARITY IN TAX TREATMENT BETWEEN CORPORATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS

Created by K.S. on February 02, 2015

It's high time for legislated parity in tax treatment between US individuals and US corporations.

Recently, the US Supreme Court affirmed the rights of US corps to "voice" their political prefs and desires, allowing them to donate to political campaigns.

The guiding legal principle was that corporations had the same rights as people with respect to speech.

Yet, US Corps are given privileges in tax treatment, particularly when they reside abroad.

US Indivs, regardless WHERE they are, are taxed globally ON ACCRUAL

US Corps & subsidiaries, that happen to reside overseas are not taxed on accrual. Rather, it is evident that they are taxed ON REPATRIATION.

THIS IS UNFAIR & against the principles voiced by the US Supreme Court. Either upgrade US indivs, or downgrade US Corps to tax parity
