PLEASE STOP... The City of Chicago from violating consumer rights by issuing multiple parking tickets for the same offense to increase city revenue. Currently, the Chicago police only have to wait one hour between issuing tickets for the same offense which can lead to... OVER 100% INTEREST! This is an abusive and unfair practice. They ticket at residential homes 24/7 when the FDCPA says no contact before 8am or after 9pm.
The FDCPA was put in place to protect the rights of consumers regardless of the debt collector.The FDCPA prohibits abusive, deceptive and unfair collection practices yet the City of Chicago and it's police engage in abusive, unfair, and deceptive ticketing practices daily. This leads to car loss and possible job loss. We can't afford this!
