Pass an Amendment to the Constitution to limit the terms that any politician serves to only two

The US Government should enact an Amendment to the Constitution that will limit the number of terms an elected official can serve in office thereby putting an end to career politicians. After serving two terms, these people will have to join the working force, and just like the rest of us, pay for their medical insurance, save for their retirement, be part of Medicare and Social Security. I am very sure that if that were the case, all of the problems that we face right now with health costs escalating, Medicare and SS on the brink of bankruptcy would be very rapidly fixed and maybe then, the people who ran for office would actually care about this wonderful country of ours and work for a change towards achieving the goals they set out to accomplish, instead of looking out for themselves.
