Pass an Amendment repealing Citizens United, and creating new campaign finance legislation to stop corporate bribery.

Created by T.D. on January 01, 2015

This Constitutional Amendment would repeal Citizens United, making free speech equal free speech, and not money equal to free speech. This Amendment would also set limits on the amount of money and material goods that individuals and corporations can donate to political campaigns (ex: maximum donations of $4,000 for an individual; $10,000 for a corporation, for US Legislators and Senators, tacked to inflation [reduced by 50% for State Legislators and Senators]). This would prevent politicians from being bought by corporations via financing their campaign, and make politicians accountable to their constituents, not the corporations that financed their campaign. It would thereby encourage legislators to vote in their e legislatures for the interests of their citizens, not corporations.
