A recent story grabbed my attention. It was a video of a principal and vice principal in Jasper Georgia striking a 5 year old child with a wooden paddle. The full video can be found at the link below (Warning: if you have children this will be extremely hard to watch)

There are 19 out of the 50 states that have some sort of corporal punishment law. This gives educators the legal right to harm our children!
How in 2016 is this still going on?
If you believe this is cruel and unusual punishment for children sign the petition so someone will address this problem.
