We respectfully request the administration cut the wages and benefits paid to US Senators and Representatives.
Recently, Congressmen could not agree on raising the minimum wage to $10./hour, yet they will receive a bonus of $2800. next January and make $172./hour.
Roughly 2 million American workers are paid below the Federal minimum. This is an outrage and unfair that our leaders will not pass a law to better the lives of the common worker while those who are supposed to be representing us continue to get rich. Over 75% of Americans support raising the minimum wage. It should be raised to at least $15./hour, yet Congress will not take it to at least $10./hour.
Please pass a bill that lowers Congress's wages and benefits.
