The state of Illinois is in shambles. Our lawmakers seem incapable of passing a budget for the state. Without a budget, some schools won't be able to open in the fall, or stay open for the school year. Road work will come to a halt. A budget needs to be passed soon or our state's infrastructure could collapse.
