We the undersigned United States Citizens strongly urge the U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate adopt, and the President sign, a comprehensive immigration policy which includes institutionalization of the “Dream Act” and a path to citizenship for currently undocumented and otherwise law abiding persons living in the United States.
The U.S. stands at a historic crossroads. We need a bill that will infuse immigration enforcement with our core values and traditions as a nation of immigrants that respects the need for family security, educational opportunity, worker’s rights and employer accountability. We need a rational solution that focuses our precious resources on the real threats to security while prioritizing the vital arteries of economic growth at our ports of entry.
