Hundreds of thousands of us migrated to the US fleeing crisis, social and economic, in our home country. Our hope in the American dream is remaining just a dream because our immigration status has been jeopardized. Our children, who have lived here since they were toddlers, can not receive aid to further their education, because they are not 'citizens or have a green card'. Life and achieving goals become difficult at every level.
I am therefore petitioning President Obama to make a Presidential order on Comprehensive Immigration Reform. An order that would enable migrants whose status has lapsed, not of their fault, to be granted Permanent Residence Status in the US.
