For years the lack of action by the Federal Goverment has prompted states to unfairly target undocumented immigrants, especially, young people that were brought to this country through no fault of their own by their parents. It is time for the federal government to act on the issue of immigration within a time frame of no more than four months from today. The law should allow for "Dreamers" that have no criminal record to attain citizenship in a very short period of time. President Obama, the Hispanic community trusted you in 2008 to pass immigration reform and you failed us despite us giving you much needed support during the 2008 election. In 2012 we gave you another opportunity to act dont fail us again and show us you care by making comprehensive immigration reform your #1 priority.
