Pass a Constitutional amendment repealing the Supreme Court case Maryland v. King

Created by Z.B. on June 04, 2013

On June 3, 2013, the Supreme Court decided the case Maryland v. King, deciding that the state can take DNA samples of anyone who is arrested and kept on file. Not only is this a violation of privacy, but a violation of the Fourth Amendment. So, we propose the passage of a new Amendment to convince the Supreme Court that taking someone's DNA does violate the Constitution. The text of the amendment would be:

No person shall be compelled to yield organic materials from their person except with the case of probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the crime under which the person has been accused.
