Pass a Constitutional Restoration Act to restore rights and privileges that have been ignored, abridged or infringed.

Created by A.F. on November 15, 2012

The Constitution is the supreme law of the land. Laws made to circumvent the Constitution are unlawful. Congress has no such authority. Nevertheless, from the Patriot Act to the NDAA, the Constitution is ignored or dismissed.

I therefore petition for new legislation, the Constitutional Restoration Act. It should provide a citizen council of able-minded individuals, in cooperation with civil rights organizations, to identify unConstitutional legislation and present it to Congress. Congess will promptly amend such legislation to conform to the Constitution, or repeal it.

Penalties will also be imposed on officials proposing unConstitutional legislation in the future. They took a legal oath to preserve and protect the Constitution. To propose unConstitutional legislation violates that oath.
