Pass a Cybersecurity Act that protects the financial interests of the citizens of the United States.

Created by A.C. on March 21, 2013

The government of the United States should require all businesses that receive any type of federal assistance and/or protections to put in place the following:
1. Newest, most up-to-date, strongest anti-virus software
2. A strong firewall
3. Encrypted documents to prevent third-party viewers from accessing/reading the document.
4. Strict confidentiality rules and use any possible optional security methods with bank accounts and email accounts to protect customers.
Put in place limits on the availability of free software designed for the purpose of hacking into banks and businesses.
Any privately owned business that does not receive any type of federal assistance should be encouraged to voluntarily follow the above requirements.
