Pass a debt and deficit reduction plan of more than 4 trillion dollars over ten yrs, $400B/year, before January 1st 2013

Created by E.H. on November 13, 2012

Many economists say that one of the main drags on our economy improving is uncertainty from the Federal Government. Uncertainty in the tax code and health care. As well as uncertainty about whether the members of Congress even possess the ability to fix our nation's biggest problems. A debt and deficit reduction plan that is shown to have savings of at least 4 trillion dollars over ten years would be a sign of competence and capability from the Federal Government that is much needed in the current climate. This must be a bi-partisan process and must be approached in a balanced way. This is the biggest issue facing our country at this moment and will have far reaching repercussions no matter the outcome. I hope leaders in Washington can step up to this challenge and make the tough decisions
