Anyone who thinks that the DREAM Act will hurt America is not thinking it through. First of all, we should not and will not be any softer on anyone who wants to enter this country illegally. The DREAM Act merely helps immigrants help themselves and us. There are many people out there who prefer America to their present country. We've always been the land of opportunity, so why not keep up that reputation? Also, it helps America as a whole. It puts more people in our military. It puts more people in our schools, which means that we need more teachers in our classrooms, and those are great jobs. I don't see why we should deny anyone who can help themselves and our country at the same time that opportunity.
