The AMTRAK railway system should be considered a strategic and vital component of the present and future transportation and defense infrastructure of the USA.
Any action taken to dismantle AMTRAK by any entity should be forbidden by Executive Order followed by a permanent law.
There are dubious political, public and private interests out there with an aggressive and irrational agenda aimed at eliminating AMTRAK, a most important key to energy independence and intelligent transportation infrastructure for the present and future United States of America.
