My Petition is simple. There is alot of lying through political partisanship in our media. Its time we have oversight to make sure the media isnt lying just for the sake of an agenda. Please pass an Executive order that would force news cast to have a 1/4th screen label with the word OPINION when a political pundit or other professional political actor is on television. As for the rest of the news it should be fined heavily for any miss reporting and when there is miss reporting they should have to air retraction pieces 3x the amount of time they aired the error. So if 1 hour of error equals 3 hours of correction reporting. If in primetime then corrections in primetime as well. The fact our media can throw out lies and never correct them and have zero consequences has gone on to long.
