The tax code in the United States has become a tangled mess of 3,000 pages and counting. There are too many lobbyists from private corporations influencing senators and other politicians to make exceptions for their interests.
Pass the Fair Tax Act and simplify the tax code accordingly so that everyone knows where they stand.
