Self-defense is an unalienable natural right identified in the U.S. Declaration of Independence. Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness depend entirely on the natural right to self defense. We must stop the revocation of our natural right to self defense at our public colleges and universities, places of public gathering, places of employment, and places of entertainment. A law abiding citizens should not have to chose between their right to self-defense and a job or an education. Countless crimes have occurred, and will continue to occur, in gun-free zones specifically because they require defenselessness from the victim. Lack of ability to defend ones self is what is at issue here.
Please pass a federal ban on gun-free zones for citizens licensed to carry a concealed firearm.
