There is no Federal law requiring employers to give employees breaks. They leave it up to the states to decide and most states leave it up to the employer. Many places, especially in factories where 12 hour shifts are the norm, do not allow their employees breaks.
We the undersigned petition the Federal Government to pass legislature that will ensure every American worker is given a break, especially when working 8 hours or more.
