Online bullying is rampant, and detrimental to the mental and physical health of our children.
Congress needs to pass a law to not only prohibit online bullying, but to provide a way for victims to report bullying in a safe and anonymous manner.
Cyberbullying should be considered criminal, since it can result in both mental harm and physical harm to the victims. Bullying causes depression, self-harm, and suicide in teens, who are the most common users of the social networking sites the bullying occurs on.
