This law would allow veterans to carry conceal handguns and the same firearms police do, and create a safer environment in the event of a terrorist attack on U.S. soil. Veterans can also do a service to the public in combating an active shooter, mass killing, and other serious dangerous criminal activities. This law would help save lives during these events. Police can not be everywhere and are often undermanned.
