Pass Federal Laws requiring enforcement of current gun laws before passage of new ones.

Created by H.L. on December 25, 2012

The laws in regard to gun ownership and use currently on the books are adequate. The problem lies not with the existance of the laws but with the enforcement of such laws. Anyone committing a crime involving a gun should NOT be allowed to plea-bargain the sentence down and those using a gun to commit murder should always be punished to the full extent of the law. Federal laws need to be passed requiring the use of capital punishment or Life without the possibility of parole in ALL proven cases of murder. Any murder committed against a child should be punished by mandatory death penalty. Any convicted felon found to be in possession of a firearm should immediately be returned to prison for parole violation with no plea-bargain allowed and any reduction in sentences being negated. .
