Pass federal legislation to have mandatory background checks on all purchases of axes/bladed weapons

After the recent tragedy in Tennessee, I have come to my senses and realized that we as a country need to have mandatory background checks on all purchases of axes and bladed weapons including; swords shorter than 22 inches, axes, kitchen cutlery, pocket knives, scythe's, tomahawks, etc. Thes weapons/tools are extremely dangerous, and are too easily accessible. We need to take serious consideration about this ongoing problem.
